I need to remove my tank to troubleshoot some electrical issues. Can't figure out how to remove the braided lines that are running over the top of the tank. I don't wanna break anything and really don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for the CVO supplement manual. Thanks in advance.
Have you looked at the supplemental manual hosted by Harley which has exploded views of each subassembly? It’s hosted freely and may lend some insight.
If that doesn’t work, Google “Harley FXSE Parts Manual” and it should be the first result. Recommend saving it as a PDF as well. Regarding those lines - if you scroll down within the manual to the “Fuel Tank” it shows what you are looking for, along with a BOM on the next page.
