I just picked up a 2021 CVO Street Glide with 2,000 miles and I was wondering what is the general consensus about upgrading the shocks? Am I crazy or these shocks still not quality even though they are on a CVO? I had the Legends Revo-A 13 inch on MY 14 pictured and I am telling you the ride was night and day! Cost me about $2,000 for front and rear but at end of day clearly well worth it. I usually ride 2 up but since she only weighs about 100 lbs ( I don't even feel her in the back.) but I find some bumps can be brutal. I was just wondering what the thoughts were on this and other riders before I preach about dropping another $2,000 on the CVO LOL. Does it every really end ?
You already know the answer lol...if hearing it from someone else helps you get over the fact that HD still puts crap suspension on a 45k bike then here it is. Yes you need to spend 2k for a better suspension and yes it's ridiculous. Since you already had a quality setup on another bike the stock stuff really seems bad to you. At the end of the day it's only money.
Wilbur’s LDC Nivomat suspension will be a great investment in riding pleasure!
I’ve tried multiple rear shocks and this is by far the best you can currently get if you plan to actually tour or ride with a passenger….
Why didn't you keep the good stuff and install on the new to you CVO?? '14 to '21 is all bolt on. I kinda understand the front cartridges swap, but the rear??

Well I thought about it, but I didn't really want to strip the bike that I built to be like a CVO. 2nd, I sold the bike to a buddy and gave him a deal of a lifetime cause he has always been there for me and my family, That's something you can't really replace for $2000. I also never thought I would buy a CVO or be spending that kinda money for a bike! Besides the part of the fun is customizing and personalizing, Just adds more pride and shop talk!
