Harley is a heavy bike. It needs torque to move. Post a few more HP on the top end dyno will not do it.
VT can also be used to allow different grades of gas to be used in higher compression engines.

there are many different types of vvt. Will be interesting to see what process Harley uses in a pushrod, single cam engine.

VVT will be a huge improvement in broad based TQ and top end HP. The only issue is how long it will take to get tuners, Cams and big bore kits that play nice with it because we all know stock it will get its *** wiped by any aftermarket big bore kit with a tune LOL. That being said, a few years down the road it should be amazing. You get the timing of a low, mid and high RPM cam, no compromises.

I can envision a 60 degree V4 fully water jacketed with a mono shock. Overhead cams.
I’d buy one!

I’m wondering how the people who bought the annv cvo are going to feel about a mid year cvo with better technology and redesigned fairings?

lol, personally I would be mad. But I’ve never seen Harley introduce 2 different power trains in the same model year.
