For those who have the new 2023, are you forced to use the HD branded wireless headsets to get full fidelity like you do with prior year models with the WHIM installed?
So a WHIM is needed on the new 2023 CVO Street Glide and Road Glide? I know it has an entirely new Infotainment system which was the reason for the question.

im specifically asking about the newest CVO Street Glide. The current whim, which I have, does not fit according to the HD parts site. The 2023 CVO has an all new infotainment system. I still do not know if Im required to use HD branded wireless headsets with this new system to get full fidelity or will the new system will allow for others with full fidelity.

I knew you were asking about the ‘23 CVO, and I thought I heard that they did have the WHIM. I may have misunderstood. Maybe it’s a different WHIM than that of the GT and GTS. Also, I highly doubt that HD would allow a non HD branded headset to work in stereo through the infotainment system; they most definitely should, but Harley is not known to let go of potential profits.

You are probably correct. I haven't found WHIM or similar device on the HD site yet (doesn't mean one doesn't exist). I guess I am hoping that I won't be limited to HD branded versions just so I have more to choose from. I currently have an HD branded Sena....and its been fine and don't have any real complaints. I just like to keep my options open. Thanks!
