Default Commemoritive key....

Don't see much mention of the "commemoritive CVO ignition key with box" that comes with the new CVO bike. I had to ask the dealer and wait for almost an hour for mine to appear but I got it. Anyone else get theirs?

I got mine. I just put it in a drawer along with the saddlebag liners and cover.

Me too. It's nice to have as maybe a paperweight. Little bulky to be carrying around. No need too.

How's the 'class action suit' going? Looks like a totally disatisfied Harley Davidson owner would simply get rid of it....you sure somone isn't twisting your arm to keep it? These forums appear to be inhabited by folks who are disgusted with their bikes but don't do anything but cry about it and badmouth everything. Life is too damned short to be unhappy with a purchase that wasn't performed by a surgeon, then it probably could be severed! I certainly hope you can arrive at some end to this desperate situation you're in....

I received mine when I picked up the bike. The dealer made sure he presented the box. He did the same thing when I bought my SEFB in March '06.

Got mine with the bike. Dealer told me it was 24K gold, then I read the little leaflet that came with it. Sure was stoked when I found out it was solid brass!.........thats why we pay big bucks for these bikes.

Got mine and I think its cool. It is an obvious marketing ploy but I like it. I had a gold key for my 100 aniv. bike that I traded in and I kept it. Who knows 5 years from now I may be trading this one in and keeping this key?????
