Chances are that they're stock. My friend just changed over to Rhineharts with some type of Power Commander. Sounds Great. I just about bought the exact same bike you're looking at but just couldn't get the money from the dealer that I wanted for my trade in.
The '08 CVO RK comes with stock mufflers. Not SE. The dealer might have swapped them to make a few extra $$$but most dealers keep it stock and let you decide what to do with the exhaust, if anything. I was actually quite pleased with the stock exhaust on the '07 CVO RK here. After six months though did decide to replace the mufflers with a nice Supertrapp SE exhaust. Regardless, this is one sweet bike and understandably tempting.
I like the large 4" diameter mufflers that are stock on the SERK, get comments all the time on how massive the mufflers are. It was hard to choose a new exhaust; I love theRinehart sound but the Q/C problems are keeping me away, so it looks like some V&H true duals with ovals will be ordered this spring along with a SERT and high-flow filter.
I second that! The stock pipes are too quiet though. I had the owner of the dealership ride mine around the lot the other day and he made the comment that the pipes were just too quiet. Great bike though and I understand why the MOCO has to make them that way. The only thing I'm doing to mine is pipes-undecided as of yet, AN Big Sucker AC and hopefully Zippers will have a TMAX unit ready for the 08's by the 1st of the year or if not SERT and dyno tune. I love this bike and it handles "lighter" than my LR. Just feels great!. I'm up for the winter here now so .....rode till the last day though. Snowed the next day here.
