need to know about onthis bike. I just bought it last week. It is the gold style and only has 1,456 miles on it. Did the usual complete fluid change. Just wonder about any issue to be aware of. I have ridden HD since 75' so not my first rodeo. My normal daily driver is 03' Heritage softail.
First question, since they came with Syn 3 does everybody run some brand of synthetic for oil. Interested in any general comment on this 103 engine, or just anything on a CVO. Thanks

46knuck - I too havean '03 CVO Deuce (100th Anniversary Edition) but the motor is a 95 ci, not a 103. This specific bike came from the factory with the 95. Was yours modified?
The only issue I've had is with heat - this pup runs pretty hot, not excessively so, but hotter than the TC88's I've had. Mine had an oil cooler added when I bought it. If you have any other mods like exhaust (mine has the SE Pro 2:1), it will run leaner yet. I have a Power Commander on mine and I had to enrich it quite a bit to compensate.
Just bought a 03 Screaming Eagle Softail with 160 miles on it.Previous owner put Vance & Hines Long Shots, I installed Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner.I was given a Power Commander, what is the trick to program my bike?? Which mapping file number from there web site should I use?? Thanks.
I have one just like yours.Rode it 3 miles home in the cold(30') In January.Just waiting for all this damm snow to go away.I installed a Power commander and mapped, so I will have to ride it a bit to see how it runs.Have you had any troubles with yours?? I have enclosed a picture. It only has 160 miles on it.Got it from a 72 year old guy that got scared of it after he rode it home from HD dealer.
