I want to make my 07 Springer more lond distance friendly but I'm worried that detachables will screw with great look too much. I would love a king-queen style seat with a sissy bar, for two up long trips. Anyone do this or any other racks or detachable stuff?
I installed the softail custom sissybar on my SE Springer, it's NOT detachable and I'm not using a king queen seat on it, just a small backrest pad on the sissybar.
I chose not to use the detachable sissybar and hardware because of how ugly the sissybars are and how ugly the hardware looks when the sissybar is not attached to the bike.
the softail custom sissybarflows very nicely with the lines of the bike, and they are both in the HD catalog.
