If this is true, I will stop work on any more upgrades to my 2008 Road Glide and wait until either 2010 (normal two year run of Screaming Eagle) or 2011 (considering what HD did with the Ultra) and get one of the last one made - how wonderful.........

according to my dealer the only engine/bike that harley makes or will make that is water cooled is the v-rod. I don't know if there is any truth to that or not, but the service manager at my dealer had just gotten back from a convention when I heard this.
They already did a STREET GLIDE! It was called a SE ELECTRA GLIDE. In 2004 and 2005. That is how the street glide evolved. They were the fastest selling ever and still hold their value better than any of the CVO's.
