I am considering buying one of these. HD mechanic says the springer is high matinience (sp) , particularly the front end. Opinions please. I know this post should be on the CVO forum and I will put it there but I wanted to know what you guys think. And also, what about these problems with the 110 engine. Fact or fiction?
Gary
The Dyna and the Springer are two totally different animals. The biggest difference besides the obvious of them being from two different families is the engines on all softail models are balanced and therefore cut down on vibration. I personally would go for the Springer but that's just my opinion and everyone has there own. I just like the ride and handling of the softail models better than any of the other H-D's. As for the so-called problems with the 110's, buy the bike and forget all of the BS about the 110. I have a 110 on mine and have close to 10K trouble free miles on it. Good luck on your new ride.
i had a dyna super glide custom 07 and i am (upgrading)getting a spinger sreaming eagle 08
DYNA is an excelent bike no complain what so ever the only problem was with me i am a big guy and i needed a bigger bike the only advabtage in my opinion is that the springer is easier to handle ....
Good luck
