with only 4200 being produced they are limited, I have a ruby red one order, not due to arrive at dealer till November. You might have to take what you find unless your dealer can still order you one.
What's the best colour combination?
I'm kinda partial to the white/blue (the white looks really sparkly in the web photo I've seen).
Here in Australia we won't see any CVO bikes until March-April 2009.
silver blue is gorgeous, if that counts for anything. We got one at the local shop, up front. They're hoping it sells- still got a SE Dyna from last year.
I think mine is gorgeous; Autumn Haze and Burnt Orange. Of course its all personal preference. I think the Silver and Blue looks nice; the silver is gorgeous and the very small blue accent stripe is OK but I dont like all the black. The Silver looks marvelous on the SERG. I've seen a lot of Silver and Blue SEUC's. I've not seen another Autumn Haze and Burnt Orange or a Red one. I'm sure there will be some in Daytona later this week; if not they'll be at the Raceway where Harley is giving out the pins.
zubaugh: I rode the orange and silver one last Friday. It was one of the bikes in the factory demo ride fleet. Pretty bike.
I had a bunch of questions about some of the accessories the CVO has that mine doesn't, and whether or not I wanted to upgrade my 07. I found I don't want a shorter windshield. I liked the grips though. Been looking at changing my billet narrow band ones. didn't care for the spun aluminum guages either. Hard to read in bright sun.
I really liked the engine and the new mounts. Vibration much reduced over my 07 but not all that much. The 110 c.i. motor moves right out, but I found the sucking noise of the aircleaner a bit much.
All in all, mostly because money is an issue for this retiree, I didn't find enough to warrant refinancing my house to buy one. I'm glad you like yours.
Hey yaul, I'm looking out for the maroon one. I have sunk way to much cash in my 06 ultra to give it away to the dealer for a trade; so I'm turning it in to a trike for my wife.
My main issue is with this 110" motor, one guy I ride with as the 07 and his bike lives in the shop. He had lifter issues twice and now riding down to Maryland outershores the bike has low oil pressure. They said it's the oil pump, CVO riders what's the real deal with the 110"
I picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Silver and blue (not black). Coming out of an 05 Deluxe the weight of the Ultra seems a bit much at first. Ordered low profile shocks and front lowering kit hoping it makes a big difference with better footing. Problem with electrical system and it's going in tomorrow. Engine light comes on and she's not putting out enough voltage. Will let all know what the problem is once I find out
