Default 2002 HD FXDWG3 question

Hello all, I just bought a 1 owner 2002 FXDWG3 yesterday with 2200 miles on it. I think I got a fair price of $13500. Some tell me I did really well. The bike is clean, was well taken care of, and has never been down. The original owner bought it at the dealership new and always had it serviced there. Anyway, I am not sure I am a fan of the headlight fairing and the little lower fairing (I'm hoping they will grow on me). Was it common for guys to take those off and go with the traditional 5 3/4" chrome Harley headlight & bracket or did most just leave them on? I'm on the fence if I want to spend the $ to change it or just leave it and not mess with a CVO bike. I guess I'm asking if most found the 2 fairings to be ugly and switched them out or thought they went well with the bike and kept them.

I removed just the upper headlight fairing and left the bottom one on. I also pulled the handlebars up and back with some risers. More comfortable and looks better.

The headlight fairing comes and goes on my bike. I replace it with a 7" headwinds. Big front ends deserve a big light. I like the chin spoiler, helps with the long, low look the bike has.

I didn't like mine at first, it grew on me, I kept mine on until I sold it.
