Is it possible to buy genuine parts that are featured on the CVO models if you are not lucky enough to be a CVO owner. I own a FPV and I know that if I owned just a normal ford I would not be able to buy, for example, FPV floor mats.
The only parts I see "Restricted" in the parts manual are the "Painted" color parts or any part that's labeled "CVO" and "Screamin' Eagle". Everything else is available. Got a certain part your looking to buy?
One of the whole ideas for CVO was to promote the customization of "stock" bikes. It's a great platform to show off what can be done with parts from P and A. In fact the Parts and accessories and the CVO line are under the same department number at least in York.
I am looking in to replacing the tour pack on my 06 SE ultra. Went to the dealer who told me that to order the paint, still in the can, I would have to supply a CVO vin. The look I gave the guy must have said it all.
any cvo has a vin and they are all over the place, most cell phones have cameras....
Where is the security and restriction??
