Default springer conversion

Hey fallas I got a 08 screaming eagle springer and would sure like to convert it to an old school bobber type. Question being has anybody done this or seen it on these bikes? I like the shadetree stuff for the xbones and am checking to see if will work on the cvo, any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

My only thoughts would be to NOT mess with a limited production CVO. It would only kill the value. I would pick a non CVO and mod the hell out of it.

I dont think it would kill the value. If you ever sold it sell it the way it is. I am doing a whole custom set up with my 09 Springer and I built it for myself to enjoy. If I were to sell mine I would sell it the way it is. I will put a pic in this and let me know if this is the look you are trying to go for. Right now I am doing a more old school looking seat and adding a 3" open primary should have it done by the end of the week. I will also add a few pics when I get the rest worked out. I am upgrading the seat thing only cause the battery cover is hard to take off with the way the seat is mounted. The screws for the seat mount up through the springs and very hard to get any type of wrench up there to make it tight. So the way Im doing it should fix all of that. If you do go this route let me know and I can help you out as much as possiable. This is how they should have built the springer to begin with.

hey noskol, your ride looks incredible. FOR MINE I'M THINKIN SOME BLACK APES (not to big) maybe a black hypercharger and a tooled seat. my only concern is the height of the riding position as i like to sit low ( in the bike and not on it). as i get closer to starting this i'll check back with you and give you more details of my plan. in the mean time be cool,be safe and thanks for your input.

For your bar are you wanting to do everything internal. My bars all all internal wiring, master cyclinders, cables, etc. If you check out Custom Cycle Controls. They do all types of bars if there is not a size you see they can make it for you. That is what I had to do with mine only casue the hole where the cables and what not come out. As far as the seat when I get the new one installed ill take a pic and let me know if that is the kind you are looking for. Ill give you the contact info and they also do hand tooled seats as well. I have to say you will pay some coin for one.
I was going to go that route till she told me what it would cost to do an old school pin up on it and it was about 500 if not more to do it so I went with an old school look. The seat that is on it now is nice but with the springs I can not sit closer to the controls so I have to reach a bit. I hope that this new design is going to fix all of this. Just let me know.
