Moe, I Emailed Zonnottis but won't here back from them untill Mon or Tues. The new # does not pull up on their database. What did you end up putting out if I might ask?
Mmont
I know it's a good looking seat but how does it sit? I want to put one on my ultra but not until I hear some opinions, honest opinions. Please don't tell me it's awesome just to justify the fact that you bought one, some people do that believe it or not.
I ended up getting it. The first time i asked I got a new guy at the parts counter and he didnt know what was going on. When i went back, the old timer at the parts counter got it figured out. First HD changed the part number (new # 51995-10A) then it on back order. I got it ordered but not sure how long it will take to get to me. thanks fo all the help.
Rule Number 1! Never talk to the new guy at the parts counter, unless it is about the weather!!!
We put the 2010 SE Street Glide seat on my wife's 09 Street Glide. I have drove it a total of about 40 miles and found it to be more comfortable than my stock 09 Ultra seat and it seems better than my Mustang touring seat. I would want to ride a couple of hours before saying it beat the Mustang seat. The driver seat surface is leather so that may help with the comfort.
The wife has rode with the seat on more than me and thinks it is the best of anything she has tried which is the stock seat, Mustang sport touring seat and the Reach seat.
We currently have it at the upholstery shop adding heat and altering the opening for a better fit for the driver backrest.
I put one on my 2010 FLHTK Limited.. Must be the 51995-10, because when you sit on it the gap is there at the tip of seat to dash bottom.. great looking.. Very comfortable. I will keep it no matter.. I looked under seat and found NO p/n anywhere.??
