Default changes in 2012

I am looking to buying 2011 SG CVO, do you think there will be a lot of changes for 2012? any thing about water cooled motors?. should I wait and order in July or would you order now for Feburary? Are CVO worth more at trade in or sale time?
Thanks Retro 08

I would think getting the last air cooled Harley a bigger coup than getting the first (v-Rod not counting) water cooled one . . .

SG is air cooled, and from what I have seen the CVO bikes are getting proportionately higher resale and I have to assume higher trade value. I can think of no reason to wait if you are ready to get one sooner.

Look for the HDLAN system to be installed on all HD Touring bikes in 2012.

As of right now, nobody has the equipment to tune them though.

It's a new two wire Local Area Network system that is used on all 2011 Softails now. Look on page 27

Whoa there! Let's not wind the clock on so fast. If you leave it until the 2012 models come out to buy a new bike you will miss much of next year's riding season. You might also miss out on this winter season's special offers. How about looking to see if there are any deals on old stock bikes that won't shift, rather than looking over the horizon? Right now (if you have snow like we have here) would be a great time to talk dirty on a new bike. They might even deliver it or keep it in the warm for you until the weather gets better.

Good thought , I will be doing that and contacting a few dealers and see what happens.I dont think the 2012 would have a lot of changes.
