I also have a 2007 SE Ultra and want to do Rinehart True Duals. However, my dealer told me that the pipes will not fit my bike. I followed that up with a call to Bub Enterprises. They told me that there is an issue with the front pipe not fitting around the rear brake pedal. Although they said they are working on it, it didn't sound like it was a very high priority for them.
Has anyone had an installation problem with the Rineharts? Given the situation, I am looking for other suggestions on replacing my exhaust. I definitely want a true dual setup, as I hate the crossover pipe. I had Rineharts on my 2003 Ultra and they were great.
Yep.. My rear brake lever is hitting the heat shield and I need to call BUB. I will most likely figure out a fix for it but that may be somewhat difficult. I will keep this forum updated as to what I find out. I'm sure BUB will not have any answers for me.
Copout...I live in Louisiana, lived on Chickaloon Drive in McHenry until last year.I know Sgt. Tom Jinkins...did a ride a long with him one nitht.I have a 2002 GoldWing ( and I love it...comfortable, powerful and reliable ) I have just ordered a Ultra Screaming Eagle Cherry Red / Black Ice ....due in in January. I saw one at a dealer and it is a beautiful bike. I am keeping my GoldWing because I like to ride it and also I think I will be afraid to take the new Ultra out too much...afraid something might happen to it. Anyway, your comments about Killing GoldWings....My son had a VTX 1800 and I could Kill him with my Wing...now the new Wings have an increase of about 10 more hp than mine.....so you might have a little problem with the 2007 Wings, word is they are FAST....I don't know. Good Luck.
I too have a new Ultra Classic on order...to be delivered at the end of Jan. I had planned the same Rinehart Pips and SERT that Copout ordered. Anyone that has any suggestions, I would appreciate. I am not looking for something that is LOUD...just want to redirect the heat from the crossover and maybe help performance.
I've also got Rinehart true duals ordered...been waiting on them for 6 weeks....work is Rinehart had some problems with their chrome and recalled some pipes, thus the long wait time...mine are scheduled in anytime....I have an 07 SE Ultra...will let you guys know how mine works out....hope u will do the same.
i myself have just orderd the rineharts for my 07 se ultra and called bub to have no direct answer as to what i can do to modify the exhaust if anyone has installed them please give us a idea on what can be done to make it fit correctly. i also orderd the teminal velocity to run the ecu anyone useing one let me know
You better watch the Goldwings, their Big, Bulky, and not very attractive to ME, but when you twist the throttle with'em, you better be packing some *** cause they run pretty good.
