I have a 2012 Screaming Eagle Street Glide and changed exhausts while at Biketoberfest at the Vance & Hines trailer. I bought the True Dual Ovals (rounded mufflers with V/H Logo on tip), with headers, and fuel pak. I had not ridden the bike much on the open rode until I left to come back home. My problem with the change is this,......once I got onto I-95 North I noticed a vibration effect that made my windshield look jumpy and my eyewear jumpy to the point of being aggravating. After say 20 miles, my little finger on my right hand had become numb due to the excessive vibration. I am extremely dissatisfied with the pipes now and when I called Vance & Hines a rep said that I would have more vibration due to more air flow thru the engine and thus more of a vibration. I told him that with all due respect, I have had two other Touring Bikes and changed the stock exhaust to V/H pipes and they never caused me the problem I'm having with the bike now. I had a 360 trip home to Georgia and I want you to know it was miserable coming home. I can't believe the flipant attitude V&H had about my change of pipes. They have not given me a recourse other than removing what I bought, yeah right, :-( , another $1600 down the drain!!! They didn't even keep my new exhaust and give them to Destination Daytona to ship back to me. Vance and Hines have not heard the end of this from me. They just pack up their travel trailer and move on to another event which now is in California!

Reason: mispelled word
I am sorry you had trouble but, I have never under stood why anyone would buy and install anything from people in a trailer at a rally.
You do know they are going to pack up and leave and if you have trouble, then what?
I understand about buying from someone at a trailer but V&H are hardly fly by night. I suspect that there was an issue on the install and something is not like it should be. Headers and slip-ons should not give you a vibration. I would inspect the system starting at the manifold and work back.
For what its worth, I have nearly the same system you have (V&H Monster Rounds, V&H Power Duals and Fuel Pak) and no issues what so ever. This was on the bike when I bought it and other than I would prefer to go with a PC V or TTS system rather than the Fuel Pak, I am pleased with it.
as mentioned I would review the install to make sure nothing is rubbing and then I would look into getting the bike tuned on a dyno. I suspect they simply used a downloaded map, which may be causing the motor run rough
check right at the right side floor borad where the front pipe comes down, from my experience you need to shim the floorboard out just a little to clear the headpipe otherwise it vibrates like crazy. do you feel the vibration in the floor board?
Seems like a reasonable think to do if it is from a reputable dealer/manufacturer.

I'm not saying Vance & Hines is bad, I've used their products on every bike I've had.
and been very happy.
My point being the guys who did the install would pack up and leave,
and if there was a problem, then who you gonna go back to.
If you have a local business do the install, you have some recourse.
