Was thinking about a CVO Street Glide, but was worried about all the 110 engine problems i've read about, should I be? or did they address the problems. Thanks in advance guys for your .02 cents

The head gasket issue was with 2007 and 2008 CVO engines.

Engine heat or heat from the catalytic converter in the exhaust head pipe? The stock engine setup is lean and runs hot but there are ways to address this. I do not think that my 2012 FLHXSE3 is any worse than the 2010 FLHTK that I had and neither is as hot as the S&S 117 in my Big Dog.

No issues with my '10. Heat can be reduced with normal Mods and Tuning Device.

Bought an 09 UC CVO in Oct. 2011. Had it in Daytona for Bike Week and had some heat issue. Could hardly keep my feet on the ground as it was burning the thighs pretty good. At one point it got so hot it sounded like there was no oil in it. Luckly we were parking to walk down Main St.

Have since put the V&H Power Dual Header and Street Tuner and have not had another issue like mentioned. I have not had it in Daytona stop & go traffice either. Should be good to go now that the cat is gone?
