help with back firing
bought a used 2009 softail springer cvo , it has vance and hines exhaust no other mods known . the bike starts hard and spits and spudders revs high then calms down to normal idle. the bike back fires when up shifting or down shifting coming to a stop the engine seems to be running very hot and at stop lights sounds like its just running on one cylinder ive checked for error codes but none came up.
does this sound like it needs to be re tuned ?
any help would be very appreciated.

What you described is deifitely not normal operating circumstances so yes, get the bike looked at ASAP.
Did you ride it before you bought it?
Sounds like an air leak or just a really bad tune.

yes it was running fine when i bought it back in april
when i checked for error codes the only thing that came up was 2 part numbers
68921-07 (turn signal module )
67313-08 dont know what this is
i bought this from a dealership in michigan security system gone so no fobs only thing left is security ant
could this be the problem
