I have a 2012 RGC CVO. I had a prob with it coughing upon take off. It made you feel like if it didn't kick back in you might fall over. Fixed that prob with a dealer recommended V&H Fuel Pack.
The other problem this bike came with is a throttle lag. It's jerky when commuting in slower traffic when you're manipulating the throttle ever-so-slightly. Just enough to be annoying. I called Vance & Hines and they recommended their pug and play Throttle Pack. They said it was designed specifically for this problem with some TBW bikes. It runs about $150 but I found them on-line for $118. I haven't installed it yet but am really hoping it works.
Has anyone else had these probes with their 110 CVO's? Since out the door is running about $35K I was expecting a little more perfection in the performance.
I have 2013 CVO S/E Ultra and the one thing I have noticed is that it is that the throttle response is very sensitive.
I kinda like it until I'm on the freeway and hit an expansion joint and the bounce causes my hand to move a bit and the bike accelerates.
I have 1300 miles on it and I'm getting ore used to it so perhaps after a while I may not even notice it.
Yep, I have run the V&H throttle pack on my'09 for a couple years now.. Corrected all the programmed in lag and gave me my cable throttle feel and response back... no problems with it whatsoever.....
