Default 2013 Road Glide CVO

Got an opportunity to buy a brand new orange / gray, CVO Road Glide. I have shopped around, and buying it through the military program saves me a lot money, mainly because the dealers around here all mark up their CVO's like crazy. The financing the Military program offers is INSANE cheap.

Anyway, never thought I would get a Road Glide but it has grown on me.

Anybody honestly regret going to a CVO Road Glide?

Also did you switch out your exhaust for louder pipes?

I traded in my 2010 FatBob for my 2013 CVO Road Glide about a month ago and I have not regretted it one bit. I thoroughly enjoy riding this bike and I hate getting off of it. I'm dropping the bike off tomorrow for my 1000 mile service and also having vance and hines power dual head pipes and high output mufflers put on. I've heard these pipes on other bikes and they sound great. They are telling me I should hit just around the century mark horse power wise... so I have THAT to look forward to also!
Enjoy your new bike!

Thanks I am looking forward to it. I love my Rhineharts, but I might go Vance and Hines this time around.

Hate to burst your bubble here but hitting the century mark with this setup isn't gonna happen. I have the exact same setup as you on a 2013 CVO RK . The high output pipes are not the best for performance but they do sound great.

I have mixed feelings on buying my 2013 CVO Road Glide. I had a 2007 Road Glide that I sold and yes the 2013 CVO is a vast improvement but I do not know if the price warrants it. I paid 34k for mine (CVO) back in Dec of 2012 and I do enjoy riding it but I also enjoyed riding my 2007 Road Glide. This is just my opinion and if I had it to do over again I would have kept my 2007 Road Glide and saved 26k after difference from selling my Road Glide.

I tend to agree.I have a '13 CVO Ultra with Rinehart XT True Duals and a SERT and it dynoed just a tad above 90+HP, and 110+TQ.Even at 100HP, the only bikes that you're gonna beat is other baggers. For me, I just want a good (cool) running, dependable, great looking and great sounding machine.

call Full Sac and get the x Pipe. it will do far more for you in the power department than you think. my 12 CVO FLTRXSE, which i do not regret purchasing as it is a factastic bike. My CVO dynoed at 117 FT Lbs of Tq, so the X pipe in my opinion really helps

I have an opportunity to buy it for 30k, or 32k with a 5 year warranty. 1.8% through hdfs.
