Default Radio quits = AMP overheating

Add me to list of frustrated CVO owners who's radio cuts in/out several times on every ride. My tech provided me the same canned BS excuse about how the MTX amps are junk and don't have a heat sink or any way to cool themselves. Sorry about my luck. "Advised" me to adjust bass & treble and turn off AVC and don't turn passed half-volume. Seriously.

don't know which model or year CVO you have but.... If it is still under warranty or under ESP, go for a ride in the rain, then come home, turn the volume up and use any available method to make certain lots of water gets into the fairing(after all it is raining) to get the amp good and wet. When it fails make them replace it under warranty or ESP.

sometimes drastic measures have to be implemented to effect change
