Got an odd issue with the stator. I have 4 ohms across the pins, 19VAC at 1000rpm....40VAC at 2000rpms and so on. Everything looks normal. However...I have continuity between each pin and ground. I would think if the stator was grounded it would not provide proper volts or pass the ohm test. Thoughts?
History....Wires from stator to regulator rubbed through and killed the regulator.
Side note...the system is 32amp and the replacement regulator I received was 22amps. Plugged it in anyway, only get 6volts out of regulator. Is this the stator or the difference in 22 and 32 amp?
