It has a single fire, single coil. Does anyone thing a dual fire, single coil would be better for kick only?
Good question...My '74 starts really well...with QwiksilverII carb [no squirter] and a Dyna-S dual fire...I have a Single-Fire setup here...I may try that at a later date...just to see...But! I have my doubts...Fire is Fire!!!!

A little OT here but... how do you like the Qwiksilver II?
I had one on an ironhear years ago, but caught fire at some point and haven't touch it since.... and finding parts for it now is pretty much imposible
I really liked it

Since I have more than a little experience with a "B" [no Squirter either] I have had very good luck with the QwiksilverII!
My '74 starts better than ever and will sit and Idle cold...Note that I have a Very Custom Enricher on it...Not nearly stock nor as crude as some I have seen. Makes a big difference in starting and cold idle...but once at running tempurature...I really do Like the QwiksilverII...and I have Lots and lots of Carburetors...only carb that I might like better for stock use...is probably the Darn CV!!!!Boring as it is...it works a Dammm
I didn't think it could be any more reliable spark than it already has. And as I said before the motor fires reliably for me. I think I'm going to give him another kicking lesson and encourage him to stick it out as is. The bike is so sweet. I regret not tearing the motor all the way down to find out what parts are inside but it was all freshly done before my customer bought it and he had enough money into getting it on the road.
Nice Seat!!!!
We need to start a "go fund me" kinda thing so this dude don't bust his *****!!!!
If yer gonna ride that...Ya better be able to KickStart it.
****!
Just Noticed...Guy can't afford Paint!!!! Nor an exhaust!!!
Next time Pics first...
No More from me!!!!!
It is all painted clear. And it does seem like it should be kick only. It's actually comfy to ride. The shocks plus the seat suspension makes for decent comfort. I wired for signals if he wants to add them. Talking to him today he seems to be a little less frustrated. He is able to fire it cold every time. He just needs to practice warm starts. Maybe I will be leaving it alone?
