Well with all the oil talk I figured I would see what you guys thought about mine. When I start my motor it starts to leak out of bottom crankcase vent and leaks the whole time it runs and for a little while after shutting off. So I put a y in my vent line to oil bag and hooked line to it that leaks. Figured it would just re circulate through engine. Well went on a ride the other day and noticed oil starting to leak out of rocker box plugs now. So do I have to much pressure now that I put the leak back onto the oil bag or what you guys think. I can't figure out why this vent leaks so bad either which I've already asked about on here. Let me know what you guys think
You cannot get creative with the oil lines, any mucking about with the vent system usually results in oil leakage.
Either your breather valve is not happy or your return oil flow is not up to standards.
First thing I would check is oil filter connections, if you have a spin on filter it may be connected backwards. Oil in to the outside ring, clean oil comes out the center. All spin on filters work this way, cheap ones will flow backwards, good ones will block oil flow.
Spin off your filter and briefly start motor, if oil is pumped out the center reverse the hoses. Do not reinstall filter if run reversed.
I don't have ano oil filter on this bike. And when you say crankcase breather line is that the topeople vent line or the bottom vent line. My engine has 1 vent above oil pump and 1 right at the bottom and to the left of the oil pump

Yeah John that is the same pic I routed my lines from. The bottom vent on mine leaks like a siv every time I start my bike so that's why I routed it back up to the top of the oil bag. No more oil leak but now the rocker plugs are leaking so what do you think I've got going on. When I was inside my motor the oil breather gear hole was in good shape so I don't know what to do man
turn the vent fitting that has a 45 degree bend in it UP connect a 3/8 hose to it and run the hose up and over the oil tank and back down to the chain area and tie it off - i put the hose behind the clip that holds the hoses away from the exhaust - put it all back together - the oil and vapor has to travel a foot in the air before it comes out of the engine now and Most times this solves the weeping
