Default Andrews AB Cam?

Anyone have any experience with this cam in a 74"? I worked out all the bugs from the p.o. wiring etc, doing a topend and discovered my cam had some pitting and signs of flaking, was the stock cam. Had my heads worked over and an old timer suggested this cam. I converted the bike from bar hopper as I aquired it to two up, sissy bar etc. My little guys will spend the most time back there and the Mrs. Occasionally, not trying to build a hot rod but a nice highway bike with longevity in mind. Any thoughts and especially first hand experience would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I faced a similar situation with my cam during inspection when I was putting fresh top end back on. I put in an Andrews A2. I'm running hydraulic lifters.
