Wondering what this mount bracket is for? The right side has the exhaust bolted to one just like it. Is it a case of these frames being used for different models of bikes that would have dual exhaust?

Thanks gents. I have a lot to learn about these older bikes. Never would've thought they made a dyna so to speak out of a tourng bike.

technically it's not a dyna... it's a Superglide
4 speed frames are virtually all the same, just minor tweaks and a few brackets are different for FX and FL models

Wide glide in this case, whats the diff? The front forks?
Still waiting on my parts book, shop and owners manuals in the mail.

Biggest difference was the fork and the 21" front I believe
Unique (and rare) paintjob for the flamed fat bob tanks
I guess other details are unique (handlebar?) but I am not very familiar

It's not a stock item, but I have a drive chain tensioner (spring and roller skate wheel) that mounts through the smaller hole toward the front of that bracket.
