kicker stuck at 12

Default kicker stuck at 12
was starting my 49 panhead was kicking it and it kicked back when it did the kicker stuck at 12 oclock and will not move either way not sure of the cause any ideas?

yea that happens when the - gears are worn and the bushing is shot the 2 gears hop on them selves jamming the works

just pull the kicker cover off and have a look post up pictures of your not sure

I would pull the top cover off to check the gears myself

Why? Sounds like a lot of work vs pulling the side cover and finding the problem right away.

No reason to pull the top cover all the kicker stuff is under the side cover.

OP put her in 3rd or 4th and rock the bike back and forth, see if it jars things loose.
