I have never seen a Stock '79 and Later SuperGlide with a Ratchet top... Only Rotary tops... [cow pie]
Don't mean there were none... but as Original...I never seen one!!

The Parts book specifies early to be a Ratchet top, and late '79 is a Rotary... So there is certainly some out there!!!

My 79 has a ratchet top, and appears original mechanically. It was an FXS1200 too. Maybe yours was an exception?
