OK guys current situation Shovelhead con motor that consist of engine components from 1971-77.
I just rebuilt the bike over the summer due to the engine seizing up on me.
Bike has a Super E shorty carb on it.
I am running stock Dual (cross over) FLH exhaust That i knocked the baffles out of because it was to quiet for my taste. I know this is not my best exhaust set up and it will change but not now.
Current ignition = points
Accel Dual fire super coil
8.8mm Stainless with copper core plug wires
Blue streak points and condenser.
I have been able to put the bike in time statically haven't been able to place it in time dynamically yet.
I am getting ready to make a parts order for some small issues that need addressed and am looking to upgrade my ignition at this time. What are some of the better ones out there do I want to just upgrade to the DYNA S or are some of the more advanced ignitions worth the extra $$$ if so which ones and why in your opinion.

Thanks
My 1979 Electra Glide FLH King of the Highway
is runnin' Dyna S and two 5-ohm coils since 2001
engine and transmission upgrades.
Super E, Super Stock heads, Head Quarters Torquer cam @ 0.465" lift, Jim's Power Glide tappets, Taper Lite push rods, +0.020" forged slugs, true dual exhaust.
Dyna S and spend the change to get a good advance unit with the bearings & washer under the spring on the flyweights. Rivera made a great stainless unit you can still find with a little digging.

Starts, idles, runs perfect!!!
No worries. No issues.
I have been researching a Dyna for my '79 Electra Glide and thought the Dyna 2000P was the one for bikes that came with electronic ignition. I thought Dyna S was for bikes that came with points.
Someone correct me if this is wrong before I pull the trigger.
