This is the closest to a warning label that you will find on a Panhead
Ordered an S&S E type carby today as it happens.
The spitting, coughing and fartin of the original one was getting tiresome.
I like to ride the bike more than marvel at the bad carby it came out with.
The carb may be wore out and leaking from seals and shafts or it may be caused by leaky manifold bands or a jetting issue. I hope the S&S E solves the problem. For what it is worth I may someday switch to an S&S E myself if this Keihin ever craps out, but this Keihin runs great and starts easy.
Apples and oranges for sure, but I'll take a Keihin over an S&S B anyday of the week. The lack of an accelator pump on the old B's was a pain on the street. The B was made for wide open throttle, i.e. racing.

I am happy with my Keihin Carb too, because it preforms well & i am able to keep the original Air Cleaner & Choke set up !!
