Source for pistons
Looking for a source for 0.030 over pistons for my 82' FXWG
The cylinders have already been bored to 0.020 over and the cylinders are .0003 over that now. machine shop recommends getting 0.030 pistons.

If they are not scored just light lines after measuring for roundness if good - we ball hone them - soda blast the 2 pistons measure the ring lands for wear usually none - put a set of USA Hastings cast iron rings on them and go - the jugs are getting thin why waste the two of them at 030 they tend to run hotter in oil temps not much but you can really see on the gage its not real happy being different then the temps at 020
shame they want to just make the cash and not save the OEM pieces as long as possible
