The AMCA -( antique motorcycle club America ) may have a chapter close to you and the guys who are in it can be an expensive source for parts BUT in some cases its all that is available
i just bought a 1958 pan head and re sold it the core of the bike is mostly correct paid 15,000 and the customer is now collecting for the machine to return it to close as it was a tank shaft bike originally and spending another 15 or even 20 thousand is not out of the question
then this one is a period bike this was done in 1961 before the guy who owns it today and we would not re do this as its what was done to make it what it is

Aftermarket is Crap... Leave that Chinaman Crap for amateurs!!!
Maybe some ebay... but... Be Very Mindful that most sellers have No idea what they have... so of course it is all NOS!!!!!
Spend all at once... or a little at a time... still probably end up the Same Money... in fact as with anything from Parts... The Parts are actually worth More than The Whole!!![/QUOTE
There is a seller on the flea that does just that... parts out complete bikes. Seems he is making a bundle.
