Thank you very much for your help. Now I can move forward, I think I’m gonna buy a Saddleman solo seat. It’ll kind of keep the look but I think it’ll be a much better ride. I really appreciate your input on this.

I don't know if those are a factory set,
up but I know I bought an amost identical set from HD a few years ago to fit a mustang two piece looking seat, & they were calling it a ''DOCKING KIT' for some reason...

I believe that is where the helper springs for a buddy seat attaches. The OP seems determined to replace the pogo but I think that’s a mistake IMHO. Both for originality and comfort.
