It came out exactly as visioned..maybe better. It had to be period correct in all appearance using everything original that can be saved. I know the mechanic really embraced it when I told him “do it as if it was yours”. Meaning don’t spare the best solution to any problem, no rush getting it done. Thanks for the kind feedback. It’ll be a month before I can pick it up and ride. Me & the Mrs do winters in FL, took the sporty here to blast around on. Bike nights in Clearwater are great events. Tons of Gulf Coast events & rides to choose from. It’ll be sweet to roll through the hills of New England to the shoreline when I get to ride this shovel.
