Paughco Pipes
I see there aren't many choices for shovels been looking at the pipes Paughco offers. Anybody have any experience with these? Let me know.
disliking any question to go completelyunanswered, therefore i type.
gather your wits about you, for i am determined to incite you into a logical choice.
you are correct to think that drag pipes make for hard tuning EXCEPT that you confine all your riding to a quarter-mile of staight blacktop. o.k., a set of 40 inch 3/4 pipes with a 1/2 inch can-opener type baffle (thats had a screwdriver punched down thru it to open it up somewhat) inserted 4 inches up into the pipe(s) and run on a 74 c.i. with a slightly tricked-out Bendix is ok for those willing to sacrifice highway performance for lowend giddy-up about town (and yes, you can run 40 inchers on your 83WG etc.).
now for the logic, my suggestion to you is what i run, namely a 2into1 system, often in the old days called a police system and for good reason, the 2into1 makes for excellent
highway performance because ithas a scavenger effect resulting in better breathing at
hiway speeds and this, my friend is where the typing must halt because: A. i dont know how your baby is set-up, there are several issues you would have to consider to fit up a 2in1 properly, there are several things to watch out for no matter who's brand you would buy and its gittin late here in tampa. call me, 813-679-6047,NOT collect, only
btwn 6-9pm M-F, or 9-9 satnsun EST and i will tell ya what i know works by the way
the pics i've posted are beforei put2in1s on mine (84WG).
