My brother just bought a new battery for the Shovel and they have changed the position of the connections. They moved them in and towards the center and it does not fit like the old ones. Same number on the battery as the old one but no go on this new one.

I been using an AGM designated BS-20... I like 'em
Thanks for the heads up, went through the battery shopping last month and was concerned about a good fit. Alt was charging at 15.2 volts so I investigated, voltage drop to 9.5 volts I pulled it out a few weeks ago and it was stamped 2017. I figured if the battery last for 5 years I'll stick with same, easy to get at any NAPA.
Legend AGM 16 EXT for around 1 harley buck,( that's 100 dollars for the folks in Rio Linda)

Just be aware of any new battery could be made by the same manufacturer and they have changed the design on them. Damn connections were hitting the frame and he could not run his cover any longer.
Maybe the battery had the wrong sticker on it from the factory. He bought another battery from a local store.
