Are these good exhaust gaskets for the shovel?

Those work,use some permatex Ultra Grey with them and be sure the pipes about mounted solidly. I prefer any of the various metal ones myself.

That's what I just used with some high temp silicon when I put my 74 back together. Very tight and solid. No leaks.

Copper ones the most common and probably cheapest but google shovel exhaust gaskets, you get a look at all available.

I`ve used the above WITH the copper o-ring type when cheap pipes had less than perfect flange alignment

Cheap???? No That I have noticed recently... Poor fit...terrible Quality? Most Chiwanese Crap these days..
