Windshield... I own Two Stockers...Cloudy and Brittle...
I am Cheap, so about any H.D. Windshield is put into service.. cut, drill, mount...
A twinky Windshield went right on my old FLHT Shovelhead... As I recall...gone for awhile now..
Looking at the pictures so kindly provided, I am thinking that the top of the standard shield is what is needed. Coming up with the chrome strips is turning into the challenge.
National seems to wan to work with me, I just nee to get them some measurements.
I need a pointed top seven hole top for the Duo-Glide so I may take the rounded top off of it to fill my needs.
With the pictures from Paul and Marty. It looks like it is the single bolt per side. Thanks anyway George. Appreciate you looking.
cool John, the shorty makes it look like a Twinkie. 😂
John, I have seen the pictures of that FLH previously, love the look.
George, it is my understanding that all the early FLH fairings that have the separate windshield not bolts to the fairing are the same. The two I show in the parts manual are black or white but no other difference.
The crappy ones on E-Bay are trash and $400. Good deal if you can find a good one for a decent price. I just picked up a great one with brackets for $100
Thanks Larry, I do have that.
Next question is, was the 1976 FLH a beaded windshield or raw edge?
I see pictures of both. Almost ASSUME the raw edge are replacements.
