First a big Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to help me with my questions, you guys are the best. AJSHOVEL steered me right on getting the 1987 + mount for the right side and since I have the tab on the primary cover the rear of the left side is ok. But I can not for the life of me find a decent Left Front Mount Stud. Found 1 on Evilbay and they wanted almost $50 for a scuffed and scratched up part. Heck the reproduction kits are less. Does anyone have an idea or a spare they want to get rid of?

I made one from a stick of (I think) 1/2" keystock once...worked great!!
could maybe get a Picture in the next??? Week
That's not a bad idea, but I don't have access to a lath. I was seriously thinking of a threaded rod coupling and grinding down a bolt for the pin part.
This might fill the bill.
Be forewarned, the footboard mounting spacing from the FLST is NOT the same as the shovelhead mounting. I think it's 8" for the softtail and 10" for the shovel.

Don't know why one would need a Lathe...stock aint round...just the tip...and I own a hacksaw and File!!! Oh....A Drill!!! Pic maybe today!!!
