I've heard about those problems and I believe there are a hand full of people in this forum that warn us to stay away from NKG plugs

Many years I was a new product development engineer for the old Delco Remy/ AC Delco Systems/ Delphi Energy & Chassis. Our test engineers running durability and combined environment durability tests on new systems always put Autolite Plugs on the test stand. I asked why at 1 point and was told to fail a durability test was painful and lessons learned over the years proved the Autolite plugs were less prone to premature failures......

Which NGKs are you using? I've used them for decades but not bought any in the last 10 years, didn't know they were Chinese now! I think I have a box of them around here somewhere, probably 10-15 years old.

Oh scrap that, just seen you're in Australia, cost a fortune to send them out there!

Wow, I always didn't like s had problems with Champion plugs in my 60's and early 70's Mopars and in my Pan Shovel,IIRC BP6ES in the Pan Shovel with a 75 Shovel top end.
No problems with NGK's in the late 70's or with Autolite or Motorcraft.
I'm glad they work well for you, maybe they just didn't like me.
