my problem with champions on the road very good but city driving they foul out, those auto lite platinum 985 would run my Harley on one cylinder, went twenty miles on one cylinder
Been running these in my 83 and 94 w/o issues for couple of years. Both machines run strong. Maybe I'll try autolite and see if there is any difference.

NGK 7634 BPR5ES-11 Nickel Spark Plug
Never...Ever, heard of Spark Plugs making any seat of the Pants,Performance Difference... If they did I should think we would have heard of that at the Race Track???
I do Know however, that Exotic metals do Not give up electrons as freely as Good Ole Copper...which all Racers do Know!!

Oh come on Races!! you still have cobwebs in your head from last night? NOT what I said. The OP was concerned if these plugs could be part of his problem, that's all. You would think that I posted on this center cooled forum, LOL.
i did have problems with NGK mainly on my magneto old brit and old honda...... would run one one cylinder pull the cap out about 1" on the non running cylinder and it would fire up , put cap back on and one cylinder again, changed them for two bosch problem solved.....same thing on my 1962 250cc honda twin, while tuning a rebuilt motor one fouled ,after that the plug was useless even after a good clean up changed them over for some new NGKs and problem solved.........not saying keep away from NGKs but just be aware of them............. yeah Champions in the shovel, no worries
You are having problems with the plugs you may a weak coil, degrading wires or the wrong plug range, the correct NGK is about as trouble free as it gets for plugs. Autolite is next, lost the love for Champions in shovel a couple decades ago, something changed with them and they just don't last and foul quick no matter the engine build.

just checked the plugs in mine and the new ones not installed yet, just spares both sets from my hd mech ngk bpr5es. a mc mech mate of mine said he would never use champion in bikes
