Hi Rich,
In previous years we often sold motorcycle chains from the Italian manufacturer "Regina".
Link: https://www.reginachain.net
We usually sourced the material from the German general importer in Hamburg; delivery time after
ordering was 2-3 days. (Offline)
Perhaps the "Regina" brand motorcycle chains are worth a look; unfortunately, I don't know the name
of the general importer to the USA.
I don't recall any complaints from end customers; if there were, the chain was replaced free of
charge, supported by the german general importer.

I measured my o ring chain and got the same measurements that you have listed for the height. When I get the Diamond chain I will measure that and see what we get.Originally Posted by old mago

I was under the impression that o- and x-ring chains are wider, not taller.

yeah measure the pin length, as I am thinking its the width that could be the issue. ....there doesn't seem to be much room there for a wider chainOriginally Posted by Ken45

Might be why my front chain guard bracket is chewed up a bit ?Originally Posted by old mago

Not going to like that chain, pretty sure they are knock offs from India. Put one on a shovel tI'm selling, had to adjust it every time I've rode it more than 2 miles over 35mph. Originally Posted by Ken45

I've used Regina chain on my Triumph for years, with good results, high quality and lighter than some cheaper chains, can't source it any more.
My FXS came with an o-ring chain and chewed my primary with a 24 up front very good for holding the right tension though.
I don' have the dimensions in front of me but it was slightly narower than any other o-ring chain I looked at for a replacement.
I'm going to go with 23/51 next time with o-ring if I can get the narrower gauge chain.

I've been running one of these on my Evo Boingtail for 2 years now. Roughly 10k miles & I've only had to adjust it once. JT make good stuff 😉
