Welcome dentist!
do you have a V twin or other Harley catalog?
That would be the first place to start IMO.
are you looking to replace or install only a buddy seat or a combo seat which is one piece for you and the passenger?
the book i have is CLYMER SHOVELHEADS 1966-1984 service&repair-maintenance
the seat i'm looking for would be a whole one for both
Q... why can't i post a picture of my bike on here i must be doing something wrong?....
What I have been doing is to use an image hosting site like www.photobucket.com load it on that site then copy and paste the link for that image to your post.
your referring to a service manual I was thinking more like an after market parts catalog one that in no time will be covered with drool from all the parts you want
I have children who are approximately 5 times smarter than I when it comes to manipulating computers for doing things like downloading pictures and the like.
As far as manuals go, in my opinion, you cannot exceed the quality of the genuine HD repair manual. I highly recommend you get one. I believe it will pay for itself if you work on your own bike.
Even today, there has got to be a plethora of seats available for your bike. Well, at least quite a few...
I look forward to pics of yer scoot.
