If those Champions are treating you right, ya probably ought to stick with 'em.
I've been using Splitfires with good success but I see on this forum that several people don't like 'em.

Champion makes a good plug.
I think all this V-Groove, Double Fire, Triple Fire, Quadrupple, Fire, Gold fire, Titanium Wirecrap is just gimmicky hype only designed to make the engine run stronger because your wallet is a lot lighter.

You sound just like my old-school-mechanic Dad.
Damned if he isn't usually right, too...

You are probably right eglideic. But I can't complain about these Splitfires I have in my bike right now. I thought I'd try something different in my engine for the hell of it and they have worked fine for over 20,000 miles. I bought 'em from Jireh so they weren't too bad pricewise. I have no complaints about Champion either. I have used them for years and will continue to use them. But I gotta wear out these Splitfires first.

I run 1 heat range colder and right now I am trying Autolite Platinums. So far I like them. Stock heat range gives my m/c pings and rattles. It has been this way for over 25 years.

I use bosch platinum with good results. Don't have a lot of miles on them in the bike yet but I do on my cars and they hold up well. Including in my supercharged Thunderbird.
