cases leaking

Default cases leaking

can somebody please help:my cases are leaking at the front of motor does anybody have a solution to stop the leak without pulling the motor out asi have got the bike in show room condition and dont feel like stripping it down for this :the motor has been rebuilt for a couple of years now and was done professionly: help

Sorry to tell you, but you have to split the cases to reseal them. There is no other solution. You can do all of the work youself. You DO NOT have to pull the cam chest and oil pump. The cases can be split from the left, resealedand reset. Did it more than once myself. Just take your time and do it right.

I've had some success by taking the whole bike and laying it on its side (no gas in tank and a base of car tires) Scrub the leak area with brake clean and a brush Sand area around leak The bike has to stay in this position for 2 days plus to make sure oil has stopped leaking thru Then I used a good 2 part epoxy Let it dry 24 hrs plus I did an old XL this way lasted 2 years plus

Are you sure it's leaking where the cases join or could it be a barrel gasket seeping down?
have you put a wrench in all bolts lately?
