push rod tubes
what seals seem to work the best for push rod tubes? I'm having a problem w/them leaking.

they had cork, I replaced them w/o-rings. I just \\;bought new tubes &\\; seals just came today (chrome was dull) so I have all new parts. The seals are mucher thicker I'll let you know how things work out. I hope too replace them this weekend.

cork ones work good, I've heard pro's and con's on the blue silicone ones, just FYI, I had porosity in one of my lifter blocks after i BEAD BLASTED THEM, NEVER STOPPED THE LEAK AND IT LOOKED LIKE IT CAME FROM THE TUBE SEALS

Well I have solid lifters, I get the push rod that I want to remove all the way down, back off the push rod and remove the push rod &\\; tube, replace the seals, there are diff seals for diff locations of the push rod tube. Larger seal goes on lifter block.
 \\;Readjust your valves. hydraulics have a diff way if adjustement. I'm sure you could fine on this forum.
