1978 or 1978 1/2?
Did the early 1978s use the same vin codes as 1978 1/2-1980? Thank you. Would someone please scan and post or send me an email, of the vehicle id page/s from an early 1978 - non 1978 1/2.

looked at book says letters-xl,xlh,xlch,xla,or xlt model#3a,4a,4d,or 2g serial#10,000 and up to{5 digits} mfg h-harley davidson year0 through 8 indictes year it was made this is from shop manual hope it helps
