hi can anyone help me on the wiring of the coil on my 1978 shovel head running electronic ignition 2 wires to coil 1 from coil to ignition all lights are working i have current but cant get a spark please help if any one can thanks kick it

If that is a stock elect ign It is probably the prestolite I'd replace it with points or a dyna s system This wasn't of HD's brighter ign systems I replaced my prestolite system along the highway(always carried a set of pts just in case)

Acording to my wiring diagram. 2 wires to coil top and bottom from electronic ignition. One wire from bottom to kill switch (ignition). If it turns out to be a bad electronic ignition. I would go to the points set up.

I have got 2 wires coming from the electronic ignition going to the coil i have 1 coming off coil to the ignition start is this correct or not please reply Thanks kick it

I would go back to points,,,i had put in the prestolite, not worth a sh%%$#t
went back to points, much better,,

Sounds right. If it is a prestolite ignition they either worked or they didn't. Go back to points you will be much happier and it is a lot cheaper.
